It’s a tradition lovingly passed down through the women in my family—makers whose creativity and care have always inspired me. The handmade treasures they crafted for me as a child—especially the dolls—still hold a special place in my heart. Each one felt alive with its own unique charm, reflecting the love and personality of its maker. Our home, brimming with my mum’s delightful handmade dolls, was a source of constant joy, and her small business sparked my own creative journey. When my daughter Aria was little, I wanted to share this passion with her, so I made her a doll. That simple act reawakened my love for sewing in a whole new way. Doll-making became my creative escape, and as I started crafting for family and friends, I discovered my unique style. In 2014, I turned this passion into a business, working from my cozy home studio in the heart of Cebu. Since then, I’ve been honored to see my creations bring joy to families around the world.
